Greek pasta salad with feta is an awesome salad. I probably like it so much because I’m such a fan of Feta cheese. This recipe does not include spinach but Greek pasta salad with feta and spinach is also very popular salad.

Ingredients
  • Four ounces of feta cheese
  • Twelve ounces of bow tie pasta
  • One and a half ounces of sun dried tomatoes
  • One eggplant
  • One yellow bell pepper
  • One red bell pepper
  • Half cup of arugula leaves
  • Half cup of basil
  • Two tablespoons of minced garlic
  • Two tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
  • Six tablespoons of olive oil
  • Fourth teaspoon of salt
  • Fourth teaspoon of pepper
Instructions
  1. Salad Preparation:
  2. Step One: Soak the dried tomatoes in a cup of boiling water. Then chop up the red and yellow bell pepper, and cube the eggplant .
  3. Step Two: Put the red bell pepper, eggplant, and yellow bell pepper in a boll. Put the bowl in the oven for around 25 minutes or until the vegetables are lightly brown. Toss the vegetables from time to time to ensure they are equally cooked.
  4. Step Three: Boil the bow tie pasta in salted water until they are soft.
  5. Step Four: Remove the dried tomatoes from the water but save the water.
  6. Step Five: Mix the vegetables, tomatoes, and pasta in a bowl.
  7. Dressing Preparation:
  8. Step One: Mix the water used to soak the dried tomatoes, olive oil, feta cheese, garlic, and balsamic vinegar.
  9. Final Preparation:
  10. Step One: Pour the mixed dressing on the salad and toss the salad to equally distribute the dressing.
  11. Serve and enjoy your Greek Pasta Salad with Feta =)

Hawaiian Macaroni Salad Recipe

This is a great traditional Hawaii dish and is commonly served at lunch time. This version is the best Hawaiian macaroni salad recipe I have tried so far.

Ingredients
  • One pound of elbow pasta
  • Two cups of whole milk
  • Two cups of mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper
  • Four scallions
  • One or two carrots
  • Two celery ribs
  • Half cup of cider vinegar
Instructions
  1. Salad Preparation:
  2. Step One: Over cook the elbow pasta till it is very soft. Over cooked pasta is used in this dish so that it allows the pasta to soak up the dressing.
  3. Step Two: After the pasta is finished cooking and drained, place it back into the pot and pour the vinegar on it. Stir it around to allow it to soak up the vinegar, drain and move it to a dish.
  4. Step Three: Grade the carrots, chop the celery up fine, and slice the scallions up thinly
  5. Step Four: Mix the vegetables and cooked pasta in the dish
  6. Dressing Preparation:
  7. Step One: Mix the milk, mayonnaise, sugar, table spoon of pepper, half a table spoon of salt all together in a dish.
  8. Final Preparation:
  9. Step One: Pour the dressing on the prepared salad and mix well.
  10. Step Two: allow the salad to cool in the refrigerator
  11. Serve chilled and enjoy =)
